If you are over 16 you will need photo ID to get pierced. If you are 14+ you will need a parent or guardian to give their consent. They will need to bring photo ID for themselves and a passport or photo ID for you.
No. We will only accept government issued forms of identification. Passport, driving license, or citizenship card- this must include the PASS logo. You must bring this with you on the day of the piercing. In addition to your own photo ID, your parent will also be required to sign our consent form and show photo ID.
Your ID should contain the features demonstrated on this diagram.
These features will be present on all forms of government issued ID, this includes:
- Passports.
- Driving licenses (provisional & full).
- Citizenship cards.
Age restrictions:
(All clients require ID to be pierced. Any parent/guardian accompanying a younger client is also required to bring their own ID to the appointment.)
Ear lobe piercing 10+ with parental consent and photo ID/ 16+ with your own photo ID
Ear cartilage piercing (helix, tragus, daith, rook, forward helix, anti tragus, conch)
14+ with parental consent and photo ID/ 16+ with your own photo ID
Scaffolds are the cartilage exception, which require you to provide photo ID proving that you are 16+
Nostril piercings are 14+ with parental consent and photo ID/ 16+ with your own photo ID
Navel piercings are 16+ with your own photo ID
Septum piercings are 14+ with parental consent and photo ID/ 16+ with your own photo ID
Lip and tongue piercing 16+ with your own photo ID
Eyebrow piercing 16+ with your own photo ID, we do not accept parental consent for this piercing
Bridge piercing 18+ with your own photo ID, we do not accept parental consent for this piercing
Nipple piercing 18+ with your own photo ID, we do not accept parental consent for this piercing

At Fourleaf Piercing, individual anatomy plays a crucial role in the piercing process. If a piercing is deemed unsafe or unlikely to heal due to individual anatomy, customers have the option to choose another piercing or receive a refund. We process refunds within 3 to 5 working days, although they may appear in the account sooner. Refund periods are subject to banking restrictions.
The maximum number of piercings you can receive in one sitting is 3. If you are already healing other piercings, please note this number will be reduced. We are unable to offer any more than 3 piercings in a single sitting as your body needs the time and energy to be able to heal them.
We also advise against healing a cartilage piercing on each ear at the same time, as this leaves you without an ear to sleep on comfortably, and can cause issues during the healing process.
Piercings can take different lengths of time to properly heal, and stop being "crusty." This is due to piercing placement, jewellery size, and the individual getting pierced. Everyone heals things differently!
During the healing period we'd recommend leaving the piercing alone and following our aftercare advice. Here's the general standard time it takes to fully heal a piercing:
Earlobes - 12 weeks / 3 months
Cartilage/Nostrils/Navels - 6 months
Your first port of call should be the aftercare sheet we provide with each and every piercing appointment - it will never steer you wrong!
Should you have misplaced your aftercare sheet, then here's the gist:
Keep your piercing clean, keep it dry, and don't clog up the piercing channel. We recommend a sterile saline spray for proper piercing irrigation. Don't go using any chemicals or thick products, keep it simple.
We sell Neilmed sterile saline spray for £8 but any pharmacy will stock a sterile saline spray.
Also, don't play with your jewellery. Leave it alone to heal in peace!
No problem. You can call us on 01905 927901 during our hours of operation or message us via social media. Refunds will only be given for cancellations with at least 24 hours notification.
Alternatively, if you have an account with us on our website, you can cancel and rearrange your appointment from your profile page.
All refunds will be completed within 3 -5 working days of processing, but may appear in your bank account within 24 hours. Refund periods are subject to banking restrictions.
No, all body jewellery purchases are final. We cannot accept returns as there is no way to tell whether or not jewellery has been worn. We implement strict hygene practices to ensure our client's safety.
